Yesterday, we went to Tesco Kulai. He is an ultraman fanatic. Actually both sons are also the same. They found some of their best ultraman favorites. Looking at the price tag, .. sorry I can’t afford it.. and I also know if I buy 1 surely my other son will want as well.
My eldest son, wanted 1 of the Ultraman figure, I look at the price tag , wow 30 bucks… for a small toy .. smaller than the size of my palm… both wanted the same thing,.. it will be 60 bucks.. and I know they treasure it for 1 or few days and it will ended up a broken figure. But that’s not the point,..
I scour for the cheaper version .. and found a 5 bucks figure and the size is bigger… but that’s not what he wanted. However, I was saying how nice the thing is and saying how big it is finally he accepted the 2nd option.
I don’t know.. I feel dejected by the incident.. I feel I can’t afford the 30 bucks version and I felt I am a failure. I hope this story can spur me to do more and earn more for my kids, as I don’t want to settle for 2nd best for my kids.
Well, my procrastination habits had been engraved into me. And I had attended many audio courses, and reading a lot of books for killing the procrastination.
It’s really hard to beat this habit. Then I stumbled a method which is what I am trying now. It’s not easy to stop procrastination, but this method is about doing the easy thing first. Things that excite you.
This year, I am going to start hunting for gifts early… I am not going to procrastinate this process until December. You know what I mean… yes… Christmas… it’s important to have all the gifts ready for all my friends and family.
So I start to look for xmas gift ideas and will also look for great items with big saving.
I think I can slowly and surely on the road to improve and beat procrastination.
It’s been 1 and half year since I tried to venture into internet marketing business, and it’s been disappointing. I only have the occasional sales here and there and the earning was just enough to cover the expense for setting up the websites.
However, it’s a journey and along the way the painful learning experience. I was pondering and taking a serious hard look at what failed me.
As Thomas Edison said, I haven’t failed, I found ways that did not work and I will find the way that will work .. that’s why his persistent of 10 thousand ways not work but 1 way that works made history..
I’m picking up myself and start again with the lessons I learned this past 1 and half year. Hopefully this time it will work out.
The law of sowing and reaping, passed down generation by generation, but not many really pay real attention to it as it contains the key to riches.
Just heard from the recently passed away Jim Rohn, that following this law and you will get rich. The law said, ‘if we sow and we will reap the harvest’ or to rephrase it as ‘In order to reap, we must sow’. And we sow good, we will reap good harvest.
Here are more details from his seminar. We sow, and part of it gone to the birds, part of it gone to the sun, or part of it gone to other uncontrol things, But here is what he said, we keep sowing. We keep doing the good sowing and we will reap good harvest. That law, said, we sow in small quantity and we get a lot more.. to get more, we sow more, but here is another of what Jim said, with skill and tools, we can sow better, thus we reap even more..
I got so inspired.. so, we can go back to this basic law.
