Outsourcing and Leveraging

I feel compelled to talk about outsourcing and leveraging in the world of Internet Marketing. That is the recent trend in IM and I feel it’s a great way to go forward.

It shows the business is growing and the world is changing as more and more people are making a living in the internet. It creates really good opportunities to others who are professional in other area like video shooting, web development, audio, article writing, etc.

Watching this evolution, I’m truly excited with the future for internet marketing, an area where I will be heading to, although I’m not an expert, but I have done about a year in this field and still surviving the wave of change.

Help Others To Ease Their Pain

Human, has been given the feeling of pain since born. It is the lowest level of a mechanism which trigger action.

Since birth, we cry when we feel hungry (it’s a kind of pain or discomfort), we cry when we wet out diaper (another discomfort), we cry when we have fever, and all sorts of pain. We cry which was an action we capable of doing at that time. The crying (an action) that leads to series of events (baby parents feed the baby, change diapers, etc) to eliminate the pain or discomfort.

That is the basic form, the basic need that we must achieve first.And so as a human myself, I am here to here the others to ease their pain because seeing their suffering is so painful.

Thus, I was away for quite some time to work on a project that can consistently provide help to people who are suffering from bleeding when passing motion.

It is an area where people are so discrete (due to the nature of the area affected) and yet they need to eliminate the pain and discomfort. The medical term for it is Hemorrhoids. But many also refer to it as hemorhoids.

It is true that, seeing people heal and recover from their pain or discomfort is the greatest satisfaction I ever enjoy. Over the period of my life, I felt the same pain and discomfort, so I understand their pain. Nothing is more fulfilling than that.

Wordpress Latest Upgrade to 2.8.5

Just happened this morning when I access to my wordpress dashboard, I have been prompted to upgrade my wordpress engine from 2.8.4 to 2.8.5. Initially when I tried to do it automatically, I failed due to some access issue. So I shelf the idea of upgrading it.

But, later, I check about what are the updates in the 2.8.5, and it is saying about security loopholes in 2.8.4 where hacker can gain advantage to put in whatever codes into your website for their advantage.
Since I can’t upgrade it automatically, I’m forced to do it manually. At the top of your wordpress editing beach, there’s a phrase ‘WordPress 2.8.5 is available! Please update now.’ , I pressed the ‘Please update now’ link.
Next, you have the option to install automatically or manually. I do not have the luxury of installing it automatically as I failed the authentication when it was asking for the hostname, username and password.
Thus, I was clicking the manual option, and I was forwarded to a webpage to download the latest version 2.8.5
The zip file is about 2.2MB, and I extract the zip file and saved into a \temp directory.
In the end, all the wordpress files are extracted to \temp\wordpress.
I use Filezilla to transfer the files to my hosting server. See screenshot below :

Make sure the local site path ( /temp/wordpress/ )and remote site path ( /public_html/ ) or ( /htdocs/ ) depending on your hosting root are correct. Highlights all the content in the \wordpress folder and right click , choose Upload as shown below:

If prompted to overwrite, just enter to overwrite. And you are done. Once you go into your wordpress bench, the upgrade message will be gone.
