I am glad that I have completed the website for CJ Motor Enterprise and the website is at this car website address. Until it is having a new domain registration, the website will be temporarily sit at this location.
This car sales website design is not what I normally do for my clients, but the owner wanted it to be different, so I just tailor made it to suit his taste.
As for the car showcase gallery, I thought of how to do it so that he is able to maintain the car listing. He can add new cars, update and remove or hide it by accessing to the blog administration. All these entries will RSS feed into the gallery page.
All in all, he is satisfied with the design except for the domain name which ideally wanted the cjmotor.com domain, but it was taken by someone. Until now, there’s no suitable domain yet, so the website will be parked at this 711go.com subdomain.

Have you watched the ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Bryne? I watched it few times, then when applying, it’s like the twilight thing where some of the the things you have requested for came out exactly what you have wanted.
So, the story happened to me not long ago. I was thinking of getting my car fixed the other day. I got a limited budget of just over 300 ( I was thinking of the bill about 300+), and I was struggling with that at first as I have no cash either. Then I ended up in a workshop where they were going to slaughter me. I was quoted more than a thousand.
So, the next thing I was recommended to another workshop by my father in law and since I have trusted him, I let them did the job. After fixing everything, I was told the bill as 300+ . Wow, exactly what I was thinking about, but here is the thing, this old and messy workshop , surely they only accept cash but to my surprise, they do accept credit card.
I think I have blogged this before but the message was just like what ‘The Secret’ is talking about. This story link closely with the idea of setting the ‘What you want’ list.
So, conclusion is, ask and you shall be given

There’s something I would like to mention here about what happened to me the other day as a customer.
My brother in law told me to get my car check on the timing belt. He is a car sales agent and he knows a lot of this stuffs.. so I went to get it check and I was asked to replace the timing belt.
Now this workshop is a big workshop and they got many mechanics and have a reception area bigger than my house. So, what happened was, they threw me with 1 hundred and 1 things to change.
They told me besides the timing belt, I need to replace the water pump, and other items which I was not remember well as it’s quite technical for me in this area. So, I asked how much was it. They told me to wait as they went to check the items and prices.
So, after waited for a while, the lady came back to me and quote me RM1450 and she told me that the parts need to wait as they need to deliver it from factory 200km from here and need to fix another date. I told the lady that I’m not going to do with this kind of price (at that time I was concerned about the price). So, after she discussed with the mechanics, she reduced the price to RM1150. I thought to myself, what kinda of workshop is this, are they going to slaughter me on this? So, I went to call for alternatives, then they reduced the price further to 950. I told them to forget it I’m not changing the timing belt here.
I felt so uncomfortable and it’s like being cheated through the whole process.
So, I went to another workshop recommended by my father in law, and it’s pretty small but the man is very friendly and since he knows my father in law well, we helped me to check everything and I told me that every other items in the engine was fine except for the timing belt and the engine cover, so I got it replaced and fixed with just RM353. Furthermore, they did it on the spot as they got the part and I do not need to find another date.
So, there is a lesson I have learned from this experience. I think it’s very good to apply it to whatever service or things that we are selling.

It’s been a week, I have been working on a website for my client on their car sales. I have created the mockup of the website, however, after being asked by my client to refer to another car website, I will need to relayout the mainpage as well as thinking on how to let them post their own cars listing and have it into the webpages.
I came out with an idea of creating a photoblog for them to upload the cars photo as well as letting them putting in the prices, after they saved it, I will have it feed into the website car listing pages using the rss feed. I think that pretty much handle that.
While I will be pondering on the main page layout. Initially I was having a vertical and horizontal menu, however, the client want the horizontal menu to be at the bottom of the page.
Firstly, I explain to the client about why the horizontal menu bar is at the top so that visitor will easily locate it, furthermore, some visitor screen are small or some laptop screens are wide screen and mostly the menu bar at bottom for the main page will not be visible thus causing trouble navigating the website.
However, the client insisted, so I will have to relayout the main webpage.
